On January 22, RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan visited the “Scientific Center for Risk Assessment and Analysis in the Field of Food Safety” CJSC of the RA Ministry of Economy. Deputy Minister Tatevik Sargsyan also took part in the visit.

During the tour, Gevorg Papoyan ознакомился с деятельностью центра, его научным и лабораторным потенциалом, а также с научно-исследовательскими и ветеринарными лабораторными возможностями, направленными в основном на изучение, профилактику и контроль особо опасных инфекционных заболеваний сельскохозяйственных животных.

The Minister was presented with the organization’s 2025 report, including completed work and achieved scientific and practical results.

The programs and priorities planned for 2026 were also discussed, along with existing challenges and the measures being implemented to address them.

Attention was also given to the existing cooperation between the Scientific Center and the relevant departments of the Ministry, including areas of information exchange and implementation of joint programs.
