Within the framework of the project “Study of the problem of antimicrobial resistance in small pig farming operations in Armenia,” funded by the RA MESCS Higher Education and Science Committee, the research team led by scientific supervisor Tigran Markosyan conducted a field visit to the Masis region of Ararat Province.

During the visit, sampling, data collection, and preliminary on-site assessments were carried out. The aim was to evaluate the level of awareness and knowledge among farmers and community-serving veterinarians regarding antimicrobial resistance and the proper use of antibiotics, as well as to identify potential risk factors in small pig farming operations.
