Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week

November 18–24 is observed as Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, aimed at raising awareness about the responsible use of antibiotics and the health consequences of antimicrobial resistance.

The Scientific Center conducts detection of bacteria in samples of animal origin and assesses their resistance to antibiotics.

Effective control of antimicrobial resistance is only possible through strong intersectoral collaboration, science-based approaches, and the responsible use of antibiotics.
